It is the branch of medicine concerned with the diagnosis and management of life-threatening conditions, severely ill, injuries or other medical emergencies requiring sophisticated organ support and invasive monitoring. The critical care department offers 24x7 care to patients in potentially life-threatening conditions requiring life support system and other intensive medical interventions. The patients with dysfunction or failure of one or more organ systems, like cardiac, pulmonary, neurology, liver and kidney, amongst others are admitted to a ICU / ICCU. Our experienced multidisciplinary team provides state-of-the-art patient care with promptness and compassion. We have ICCU and ICU with 36 beds where all modern facilities are available. We have a team of dedicated, well qualified and trained staff on various procedures to take proper attention and care to the patients assigned to them. ARDS, COPD, Trauma, Multiple organ failure, sepsis, snake bite, severe food poisoning, dengue, cerebral malaria etc. are few common conditions for which patients receive treatment in ICU.
